Just imagine the joy and excitement on the faces of people, young and old alike, when they see and taste fresh, safe, cool water coming from a new well our MorningStar Partners helped to build. Together we have provided many wells to remote tribal villages where God’s people are being built up by our trusted national pastors on the strong foundation of the living word of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us on a faith adventure to see for yourself what a blessing you can be, bringing the love of God with kindness, compassion, and prophetic insight to spiritually hungry people. The hunger in people invites the presence of the Lord. Jesus said, “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:42, ASV).
I have been blessed to visit areas in several nations where we have provided new wells, hygiene training, community development, and micro loan and 7 Mountain Mandate strategies to begin the task of ending systemic poverty. A team from Raleigh, North Carolina is going to India in April and May to conduct a pastors’ conference and visit tribal areas where I went last year.
MFM members Mark and Kathy Edwards stepped out in faith last year by going to India for the first time. I introduced them to friends and ministries we have worked with for years, some for over fifteen years. They encountered miracles, almost on a daily basis, seeing dramatic breakthroughs along with the expected warfare. Mark has returned to India twice since then and will soon go again. You may not be called to India, but everyone is called and commanded to play a part in fulfilling the Great Commission.
I hear many folks talking multiplication. On many levels, God is a God of multiplication. If He sees we can be trusted in small things, He will bless with greater things. Great exploits are in our DNA as disciples and bondservants of our Lord Jesus.
One donor, who has given toward several wells in the last year, told me, “I don’t know of a better way to get out of the valley of debt than by giving to provide a well through ZAO. God multiplied my $2,000 donation many times over when I sent it overseas.” In India, a well costs $2,000. In Pakistan, a well costs $1,400. In Nigeria, a well costs $3,500. We have drilled fourteen wells in India in the last fifteen months. In Nigeria and Pakistan, we are drilling our second wells in each location this May.
